How to Place Your Order

What is required to begin production of my firearm?
To begin production of your commemorative, we require the following:
- 50% Deposit.
- Approval of any customized artwork via signature or email.
- FFL from a licensed federal firearms dealer.
- Requested deadline if applicable.

Custom Commemoratives and Projects are single firearms or small editions designed exclusively to meet the needs of an individual or group. They are developed in tandem with the client and can require up to 6 months to complete.

Am I required to pay sales tax on my order?
Sales Tax is required for orders delivered to the following states:
IN, ND, NV, SD, TX, MT
What if my organization is exempt from sales tax?
If your organization is exempt from sales tax, you can include a sales tax exemption form along with your order. A multi-state exemption form can be found here: http://www.mtc.gov/Resources/Uniform-Sales-Use-Tax-Exemption-Certificate. If your state is not listed on the above multi-state exemption form, a form specific to your state will need to be included with your order
Legal Restrictions Pertaining to Delivery of Firearms
All firearms, unless otherwise noted, must be shipped to a licensed federal firearms dealer in the purchaser's home state, who will legally transfer the firearm to the purchaser. Licensed Dealers include gun shops, sporting goods stores, and certain pawnbrokers.
A signed copy of the dealer's FFL (Federal Firearms License) must be attached to an email or faxed to A&A Engraving before delivery. Please include the customer name and/or edition number of the commemorative with FFL.

Local and state firearms laws change frequently. Some states do require extra licensing or documentation before purchasing a firearm. There may be extended wait periods, background checks or transfer fees. It is recommended that you call a local firearms dealer or NRA representative and confirm all local and state firearms laws before purchasing your commemorative
Expected Transit Times for Deliveries
Unless otherwise noted, all firearms will be shipped using UPS Ground service. The following is a map of estimated delivery times from our location via UPS Ground. View Map
Exceptions for Delivery of Handguns
Handguns, as defined by 18 U.S.C. § 921, will be accepted for transportation only via UPS Next Day Air Services, specifically, UPS Next Day Air® Early A.M.®, UPS Next Day Air®, and UPS Next Day Air Saver®. (Note: UPS Express Critical™ Service is not available for firearms).

Sending Your Firearm to A&A Engraving
All firearms (and firearms parts, including stocks and grips) must be shipped to our federally licensed location:

All firearms and firearms parts must be approved before shipping to A&A Engraving or they will be returned
Can I use an intermediary shipping service, such as Mail Boxes Etc. ® or the UPS Store®, to ship my firearm to A&A Engraving?
NO. We do not accept firearms or firearms parts from intermediary shipping services such as Mail Boxes Etc.® or The UPS Store®.

Alterations in Product Specifications
As with all custom work, minute variations are inevitable. Occasionally, a project may be altered due to firearm unavailability or manufacturer updates or changes which are out of the control of A&A Engraving, Inc. In such cases, A&A Engraving, its partners and representatives will make the utmost efforts to notify customers of such changes before processing orders
What is included with my purchase?
Each purchase should include the original manufacturer's box and paperwork, a Certificate of Authenticity, and care instructions. Select commemoratives may also include a custom display case

Care of Your Commemorative Firearm
When handling your commemorative firearm, use soft gloves or a soft non-abrasive cloth. Remove any fingerprints immediately. Oils in the skin can cause corrosion to exposed metal.
Whether on display or in storage, keep a light coat of gun oil on all metal parts.
If you live in a humid or coastal environment, check your firearm frequently for signs of corrosion.
DO USE: A soft, non-abrasive cloth (such as cotton or flannel) dampened in gun oil to gently remove fingerprints.
DO NOT USE: Prepared polishing cloths, tarnish removers, polishing compounds, or paper products, such as tissues or paper towels.
We use WYPALL® brand cloths and Tri-Flow® brand lubricant on all of our commemorative firearms

A&A Engraving stands behind the quality and
We ask that the customer closely inspect their commemorative firearm within one week of receipt and contact A&A Engraving with any immediate problems of concern. Commemoratives deemed to have faulty workmanship from A&A Engraving will be repaired without charge.
Some manufacturer defects may be outside of A&A Engraving's control.
Damages due to excessive wear or damage caused by firing, improper handling, loss, accident, neglect or disassembly will be assessed and charged accordingly.
Products damaged in shipping will be repaired or replaced when returned within 30 days of delivery
